Hotspot is committed to protecting children and to keeping our platform free of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes our standards and the steps we take to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of CSAE.

Our zero-tolerance policy

Child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form is strictly prohibited on Hotspot. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

- Grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, or any sexualization of minors.

- Any attempt to use the app to contact or exploit a minor. Hotspot is an 18+ application and is not intended for children. During sign-up, every user must enter their date of birth, and accounts that do not meet the minimum age of 18 are rejected. Anyone we determine to be under 18 will have their account removed.

How users can report CSAE and abusive content

Hotspot provides in-app reporting tools so users can flag abusive profiles, content, or behavior:

1. Open the profile or hotspot you want to report.

2. Use the Report option to submit a report (you can include a description of the issue).

3. You can also block a user to stop further contact. You can additionally report child-safety concerns directly to us at nikolaj@htspt.app. We treat reports involving child safety as the highest priority.

How we respond

- We review reports of CSAE and abusive content and act on violations.

- We remove violating content and disable/ban accounts that breach this policy.

- We preserve relevant information as required to support investigations.

- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate authorities in the relevant jurisdiction, and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.

Compliance with child safety laws

We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the markets where Hotspot is available, including obligations to report CSAM to the relevant authorities.
